BIG TIME AND FANCY UPCOMING SHOWS

We have a few shows coming up that we believe will be larger and more uproarious than the average bear, and figured we would post a brief overview of what we have in store.

MAY 28 - The Woodshed with Morning Teleportation - 9PM

This should be a kick ass show as Morning Teleportation are a kick ass band who do kick ass things. Check out their recent appearance on Letterman!

JUNE 18 - "SLC FREEDOM FEST 2011" at The Gallivan Center - NOON

A free event offering food and groove with the purpose of promoting freedom, bridging community gaps and encourage GoLocal ideology. We'll be playing around at around 6PM (slcfreedomfest.org)

AUG 12 - "UNCLE UNCANNY'S" at Rivers Edge - 2PM

Join us again this year for the Uncle Uncanny's Music Festival, it's three days and lots of fun. We will be playing on Friday evening at 6PM. This years theme: Intergalactic Disco, headlining the event is none other than (uncleuncannys.com)

HOW UNCANNY!

We have just learned that we will officially be playing this years Uncle Uncanny's Music Festival! This years theme is "Intergalactic Disco" so figure out how to make your chest hair show under your space suit, kids. This years festivities will take place at Rivers Edge from Aug 12-14, tickets go on sale May 16th!

FIRST SESSION DOWN

Well, we have wrapped up our first session at Archive Studios for our new full-length deal. We will be heading back to record with Wes Johnson in May with the  new CD out not long after that. We have some cool shit planned for the new record including a handfull of guests spots that thus far have contributed a ton to the songs. More on that soon.

INTO THE STUDIO + HANDS OF BLUE

Great news everbody!  We will be re-entering the studio in March to record a full-length record to follow up last years EP Pleasure Junkies.  We will be recording at Archive Studios with Wes Johnson again and we have a bevvy of new material that we can't wait to put down.

THAT'S A WRAP

Well we didn't quite make it to open for OK Go, but that is okay.  Congrats to UNI-PHI for taking the top honors, we hope it was a fine show for them.

If you haven't had a chance to read the latest issue of GO! perhaps you should check it out or follow this link to read the nice write-up for PLEASURE JUNKIES from Linda East Brady for her article entitled "The Gift of Music."

TOP FIVE

We made it to the top five for the X96 contest to open for OK Go!  Thank you very much for your votes.  We play tomorrow at Graywhale in Taylorsville (1775 West 4700 South) at 6:30 PM.  Tomorrow the vote will change over to a text message deal where each number can vote one time.  We will get you this info when we have it.  Thank you again!  Winner of tomorrows vote opens for OK Go on Friday.

THE ONE WHERE THE BAND HAS A REALLY BIG SHOW

Okay folks, first things first:  We are in the top ten to open for OK Go on December 10th thanks to the good, clean folks of strong moral fiber over there at the X96 and we need your help! It is quite simple really, take a second to vote for Fox Van Cleef here, and feel free to take like 100 seconds to do it another 100 times, it is an open vote.

Secondly, we will be recording a live album at Urban Lounge on December 29th, it should be a super swell time.  A diverse range of music will accompany us in the form of the legendary Red Bennies, the amazingly talented hip-hop of Spitsofrantic and the interesting & cool Small Town Sinners.  Come join us!
